Voting opens for new WMF Board Member

Welsh music enterprises are core to the work of WMF.
We are looking for a Stakeholder to join our board and currently have a short-list of nominees. There is one place available and a vote by Stakeholders will determine the successful candidate.
Stakeholders who were elected onto the board in the last round include Rhys Mwyn, John Rostron, Huw Williams, and Dai Lloyd. Unfortunately we have had to say goodbye to Dai who has left Wales for his new home in Canada, leaving a vacancy for a stakeholder member on the board.
Being a member of the board allows the chance to raise important issues that shape the work of WMF, as well as being consulted on a number of ideas and proposals that arise from strategic planning, an operational level and ultimately from Stakeholders.
If you are involved in the music industry in Wales and would like to become a WMF Stakeholder (eligible to vote for your chosen representative), please email hello@welshmusicfoundation.com for details. It's free to join our ever-growing network of music enterprises across Wales and you'll be kept up-to-date with the projects and events that WMF work on, networking chances, plus national and international opportunities.
Board member voting closes on February 17th 2011.
