Swn Sessions 2010
WMF are working alongside Swn again this year and as part of the festival, we're co-ordinating many of the daytime sessions. All take place on Friday 22nd October 2010 and Saturday 23rd October 2010 at Chapter Arts Centre, Cardiff. FREE to attend.

11am - 12.30pm Live music - what needs to change? A lively panel discussion which seeks your views on how the live scene could work more effectively.
1.45pm - 3.15pm Want to play more live shows? We're Going Live! Hear from agents / promoters who'll be dishing out hints and tips.
Also, Ignite Cardiff has teamed up with Swn to bring a musical-flavoured event to Chapter. See www.ignitecardiff.net for details of their special event.

12pm - 1pm The Ballad of Britain - Will Hodgkinson is joined by special guests as he discusses his latest book and thoughts on folk music and Wales.
2.15pm - 3.15pm Richard Parfitt has sold over a million records, co-written with Duffy, played all the major festivals and is currently Senior Lecturer in Commercial Music at Bath Spa University. Richard presents 'Music and the Mythic Image' at Swn. *CANCELLED DUE TO UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES*
3.45pm - 5.15pm Lamacq is back. With his mail sack. We're thrilled that broadcasting legend Steve Lamacq returns to Swn - opening a weeks worth of post and sharing how he selects the music he plays and promotes.
