The idea was sparked from listening to lots of Chromeo and Prince by bass player ansd songwriter Woody, Wylee the vocalist maintains that he comes from a soul and blues background namely the Rolling Stones and Free. Dirty Goods deliver their own style of electro fused dance rock. In 2009, Dirty Goods played major UK festivals, enjoyed BBC TV placements, frequent radio play (BBC Radio One, 6 Music, Real Radio) and have had over 60,000 youtube views in a little over two months since uploading two live music videos. |

Artists we have worked with include Virginia Head (Best Welsh artist award 2007) who has worked for several award-winning animation companies across Europe and in the USA, and Rhiannon Evans, a young up-coming filmmaker whose work has recently been shown in the prestigious Clermont-Ferrand short film festival in France. dots. film band have performed and developed their art with showcases at SWN Festival, The Trailerpark Film Festival and the National Experimentica Festival, to an overwhelmingly positive reaction by programmers and public alike, and we look forward to taking this exciting and original project out to a wider audience. For their current project, due to tour the UK in late 2010, dots. film band have taken 6 contrasting shorts, encompassing silent, animation and live-action from 6 upcoming British filmmakers, and created soundtracks to perform live on a vast array of instruments and found objects as required by each film. |

| description: | The Dead Beggars Club formed in Newport, South Wales at the start of 2010 as a reaction to the depression that the youth of today have to deal with. Born from the ashes of former bands, Vocalist and Guitarist, Matt Watkins (Johnny Reasons and the Resurrection), Bassist, Ben Mainwaring (Kick Box Riot) and drummer Kieron Thomas (Varispeed), joined forces with Vocalist and Guitarist Matt Short to create a new, raw sounding brand of rock ‘n’ roll that would make them feel alive. The tunes came quickly as the band bounced ideas off each other and quickly got in the studio with producer Todd Campbel (Straight Lines, Tiger Please). With a fierce drive and hard-working attitude The Dead Beggars Club hope to continue writing towards a release for the start of 2011 and play as many shows as possible all over the UK. With millions broke, bored and unable to get a job in the ghost towns of this country, it is time to unite together and do something about it. This is a soundtrack for better times.
